Normally I have been quite lucky with old tiles leaving very little adhesive, or cut off the plasterboard and replaced it.
This time I've hit that awquard middle spot. I know I could tile straight onto the existing wall with some adhesive left on it but I also know that it will cause me loads...

I have not done a course yet, just in the middle of arranging one but was wondering what do you new tilers do when you go to a job and maybe the customer asks: So tell me how long have you been doing this?
How do you feel telling them that you have maybe just finished a 4,5 or 6 week...
