May be able to rake out grout , inject something like “Fix a Floor” and re - grout ….but generally …,Tiles off and Re-Tile

As Ben said ..:any adhesive will suffice .. but I always use a flexible adhesive .. can be slow or rapid depending on your capability wether the sub floor is flat or not … just my preference… GW
Unfortunately it will never fully drain away….only with certain Mosaics can you get away with not enveloping..
only way is take them up and re-tie correctly 🙈
Unfortunately Small geometrical patterns always show up discrepancies ….in my mind that the left hand corner is out of square
You could not swing it that amount to compensate as it would affect visually everywhere else

There’s every possibility that the original Tiling wasn’t up to grade/was blown /delaminated prior to your works and your neighbours are trying it on !!
In my opinion you should get a building surveyor to assess and give his / her professional opinion ..
Surprised a local Tiler can’t/won’t...
Pictures are worth a thousand words…
But ..hair line cracks are usually caused by movement/settlement
If there are no spare tiles then there is a problem depending on where the cracks are (through the actual tile of grout margins)

Wow..most unacceptable… it’s a take down and re -do job … never in a month of Sundays would I think ….or dream of getting away with that finish
Round edge (RE) Tiles are far and few between in the UK .. ( Can get in quarry tiles RE & REX)..so edging strip, Mitring or reverse cut is the way to...
The center joints look to be in line so definitely walls are out as is
frame which you couldn’t really do anything about…. Grout in white will help blend in.
Its probably “Bitumen” which was commonly used to stick not only Lino tiles but Parquet flooring as well.
If the screed is in good condition below … I would prime/seal the floor or overlay with a 6mm backer board and go ahead with the Tiling.

First thing to remember is always polish your tiles off if you are going to show a picture to people… especially if they are Black!
The White Tiles are a bit out of line … but that could be because of them being “sizey“….in which case you should use your eye to see that it is “aesthetically...

A 2 week course May be good for the fundamentals…And I'm sure there are some good training places out there..,
But for me the only true way is an apprenticeship or the like .. and start with the broom /tea making and fetching first...
