i wish i was closer aswell no1 around here wants me :'( lol its getting to me a bit at the minute like! every1 around here just do jobs now n then so dont get enough work to take me on! ive sent over 50 letters out to tilers around here! i have the funding here just waiting for some 1 thats sutible!

I was actually talking to some of me mates about this last night, and we all agree that working alongside a female is better, as they are in the job 100%. Because of the male dominancy in the trade, a woman has to get past a lot of barriers to get there. And that shows determination and the desire to do the job well.

Something I very rarely find with guys I have worked with on site, who are lazy, lathargic and beleive they should be paid a shed load to do jack all.

*This intelligent conversation obviously took place BEFORE snorting vodka off the bar in revolutions and caning 9 pints of lager with shooters in WS1, and then making a pavement pizza with extra chicken kebab topping....*

Anybodu going to the tile show?

At the moment, i'm on me own.... No. 795 on the 1st July. 🙁

Lets use this as a good opportunity to get together on the saturday, have a night on the tiles (scuse the pun) and follow on the next day on the tiles again (another pun...).

nah, had some heavy nights up there in newcastle. I was in catterick garrison for ages, so made the most of it. Yonks ago though.

Yeh, naked bars are the best.

Stand at the bar with your grollies down and pretend nothing is wrong. See who the first one to bottle it is, or the first to get chucked out the venue. Funniest in the Brewers Fayre / out of town places where they never experience 'city louts'. lol
