it was the first time I had put a tent up at Silverstone last year, my son grassed me up to his mum for swearing

is that your car with the tf registration Liz

I used to live up the road from silverstone in a little village called chackmore, we used to book that weekend away as the roads were a nightmare, we were under seige

I dont live far from there now, I could get some day tickets

oooh Mike, I've never noticed the TF before, well spotted  TF obsessed are we?

The renault world series is great cos it's free. I keep meaning to look at getting Formula 1 GP tickets, but by the time I remember it's only the really expensive tickets that are left :mad2:

Also got family and friends coming with us too :yikes: brother in law and his mrs (have both been scouts so experienced and happy about camping) and one of my girl friends and her bf (the bf is in the TA so camps a fair amount, but my girl friend has never been camping in her life and she's 32 :ban🙂

will be having mucho funno :hurray:

Where's the beer fridge..

I was gunna get a new tent the other day.. big sale on at local discovery centre.

No need for a beer fridge Dave. where we're staying at Silverstone has a beer and bands tent within the camping fields

I used to like going to the Rallycross.. but mostly slept in the car..

Gunna try and get away for a few nights in the summer hols..camping is probs the option..

go for it Dave :hurray: there's some cracking deals on tents on eBay and loads of outdoors retailers. the one I've just bought is second hand but only used once

doesn't look big enough for the amount of clothes a woman takes on holiday!

thankfully, that tent is just for my mate and her fiance. I'm still gonna use my 5 man Vango plus extension

and anyway, my clothes go in the 90 litre rucksack.... not sure how much hubby is taking, maybe his ted baker manbag will be big enough afterall

Went a couple of years ago and wasnt looking forward to it as im more into classic cars (dads fault he had loads of old bangers as i were growing up:lol🙂. The missus and her family are all petrol heads so went along and loved it. Fantastic day out:thumbsup:

Unfortunately, some unscrupulous people in the UK have requested tickets for this event and have put them up for sale on eBay.

Please note that these tickets are FREE, they have no resale value and Renault specifically state that these tickets are not to be resold.

I was disappointed to find at least 30 pairs of tickets for sale on eBay today. What an insult to everybody who have abided by the correct terms and conditions for this event

If you report them to Ebay they will remove them, your not allowed to list tickets for sale for free events on ebay, its one of the type of listed items you cant sell.

I reported them all Oli 😳 all 40 users

Oh and I also emailed the marketing team at World Series by Renault and told them about the eBay listings

I've got a party to go to that (sat) night Liz, don't get invited to that many so better not miss it
