what to get the wife for christmas

i struggle with this one every year, what do you get your wife/partner/husband for christmas.........do you play it safe with smellies, jewelry.

mate of mine bought his wife a microwave one year.......she wasnt ammused.

but theres a thing, men like getting practical presents like tools so why not get the wife a nice set of stacking sauce pans :lol:

We've given each other a budget and some of it is surprises but the rest we're both telling each other what we want, save's any disappointment then. I want a decent watch, she wants perfume and clothes mainly.

mine has hinted (by getting my 12 yr old daughter to tell me) she would like an e-book has anyone got one and what are they like.

I have no idea, she just bought one of them kindles from amazon to read her books so was gonna get her a light for it until one turned up this morning.

She will have to get me a list now though, too may kids and family will ask me what she wants and i end up having to use any decent ideas i have to tell them what to get her.

My wife is awesome at pressie buying, her latest thing is getting calendars made up online with photos from the last 12 months, good for us this year as we've had a wedding and a baby. Give them to the parents, grandparents etc making each one personal. Dead simple, not too expensive and it looks like alot of effort and thought has gone into it when in reality its just a case of uploading photos and letting the internet folk make it and post it! As for the wifes gift, no idea! Think I heard her mention something about a d24000 on the phone the other night, not sure what one is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I'll buy one and wait for the look of joy on her face 🙂
