What grout & what colour

Hey,

I want some help on the colour any type of grout I should use. I was thinking white but presumably this would show up any uneven tile spacings (in the mosaics) very clearly! They arnt bad but anything which would highlight them wouldnt be great! - the floor will be in 400 x 400 matt black porcelain. In another thread someone has used the same tiles but managed to scratch the metalic ones. Is there a grout that I should use to minimise this?

i would choose white to tie in with the main tiles

I would also use white. A small criticism, the brick bond on the wall with the large niche is the same above and below the border, on all the other walls, it's opposite (as it should be). The job looks great though.

What's going under that niche!?! Your tiles should be going "around" the corners, but other than that, the job looks great! What colour are your tiles? On this monitor, they look like a limestone colour, but this monitor is on its way out..

Nothing stopping you grouting the mosaics and main tiles seperately, using different colours.

Bugger! I didn't really notice about the Brick weave being out. I think I might have done it like that because if I had done it the other way I would have ended up with a difficult cut in the middle.of a tile.

Below the niche will be more mosaics and the toilet and the tile colour is beige.

I think white is the way to.go.....does it matter what type? I was thinking of using the mapei stuff?

I'd go with limestone personally, but that is just my preference.. I find webber grouts easy to work with, but go with whatever you can get locally. I'd go with a fine grout though

How do I know what a fine grout is?!

It should say on the bag, but just ask at the tile shop, they'll know..

I would only ever use white on a white tile, unless customer specified otherwise.

Colour for me would be a light beige to compliment the tile

Well Screwfix seem to do Mapei Ultra at a decent price? Would this be classed as a fine grout? The only tile place I know to ask in my area is Topps and they just seem soo expensive!
