Reading this thread and its got me thinking again! Few years back i had to remove a cracked shower tray that was bedded in a new;ly screeded floor that was down 5 weeks. All screed in the house looked cured however when i lifted the tray, the screed was still had that wet look and there was moisture under the tray. Its got me thinking about the 3 week time to start work ontop of the screed. Surely the moisture coming from under the tray could have a negative effect somewhere.

I've just fitted some vinyl on a similar aged screed and used Ardex DPM1C on it. It can be laid on a floor with a moisture reading of up to 98%rh. check the spec, there may be a reason its not suitable but its worth looking at
