Waterproofing An Aqua Dec

Anyone any ideas for waterproofing an Aqua dec other than Tilesafe, ive done a few with Durals Durabase which as im sure most of you will know is the 1m wide roll of fleecy waterproofing fabric. It has worked ok but is a bit of a pain to get in around the drain of the aquadec as its not the most pliable. Im really asking as I was never much of a fan of tilesafe as it always seemed a pain to work with due to the skickyness, I believe they have now brought out a different version which may be a bit better to work with but I havent seen any to comment on it, I even have quite a bit of the original tilesafe on a roll which I should really use up to get rid of it, any ideas on a primer which would work with this as the primer that came with it is long gone.

How about using a tray that's inherently waterproof and tileable such as wedi or schluter?

Waterguard is the one to use, much more user friendly than the old Devils flypaper.

As the others said, waterguard is good stuff. Use any reputable acrylic primer for the porous surfaces.

As above, Waterguard is much easier to use than tilesafe. Also, it's a lot thinner so where you've overlapped it doesn't bump you up as much.
