out of work my ***.lol.im eatin my first lunch here after grouting big splashback then off to next job within an hour or so! On time for rest at the minute.
Ouch. Thanks for the warning though, I'll be doubly careful, quite like my new toy I'm getting used to slowly....
Get some vitamin E capsules, prick them with a needle, one a day, and one last thing at night and spread the pure vitamin E oil over hte scar. Will heal much quicker and leave no or hardly any scar.
Unlucky Joe. It's one of those things. Well done for keeping at it but make sure it doesn't get infected, keep it clean and keep changing the bandage etc. I've heard the superglue thing before but haven't tried it. I'd probably go with Gisela's advice though to be fair. Sounds much more normal
And thanks for the warning, I think we all do need to check blades and tools a lot more than most do. Especially when you're doing lots of smaller jobs where the tools are in and out of the van a bit more than usual. Only takes a minute to check any tool.
sorry to hear about your accident mate. i think it maybe the marcrist blade. i had a 2 week old marcrist blade snag on me when i was cutting some super hard proc. didn't get hurt, but the blade had a big kink in it. i still have it somewhere. i did wonder if i could get my money back, or was it my fault? never did bother in the end. be careful out there!
