hi there all, removed wallpaper for customer this morning on one wall all others been boarded out, wall feels bit sticky but should be fine when dryed out going back to tile tomorrow but should i prime with anything before tiling wall is in good condition, no plaster falling off anywhere or crumbling thanks rossy....

be careful when you think it has dried out cause when the adhesive goes on it sometimes react with the moisture and the adhesive will only stick to the paste.

hello rossy mate...The wall you removed wall paper from ...Wash down with sugar soap to remove wall paper paste residue......dave....

hi, dave what about when walls have just been painted should i be putting anything on walls before tiling thanks rossy.....

If in doubt always prime, i always prime anything before i tile, then never have a problem and the customers like it as it shows them you know what your doing. and DONT USE PVA.

hi rossy...Give the walls a good sanding with a coarse grade sand paper then prime with bal bond sbr diluted 4 parts water to 1 part sbr......dave....

NO NO mate. Never thing something is going to dry. That would be wallpaper addie, no good for tile addie. Scrape, rub, it off, do what you want, but get it off, no point doing a job and going back a year later.
