Wall Construction suggestions please

CTD at present are not stocking it.. i already asked the question to schluter a few weeks back..:smilewinkgrin:

The only one i was told in the northeast was the Yorkshire tiling comp, so depending where you are then that will determine the stockists,, ring schluter and ask..

What i will say is, it isn't cheap but is ideal for your project.

ive just priced a job with Kerdi, still waiting to hear wether ive got it or not

kerdi worked out at less than half the price of the alternative which was batten , waterproof insulation batts, plasterboard taped and jointed

im pricing a decorating job today. the job is remove plaster and replasterto two outside walls, second fix joinery. line two outside walls with polystyrene backed lining paper and paper

its going to be cheaper to strip plaster, dot Kerdi. line with wallrock and paper

because im using wallrock lining paper I wont even have to tape and joint the Kerdi

Im typing up an explenation of what kerdi is and its thermal qualities and how its going to save them money as well as giving a superior job

this may catch on in decorating and as far as I know im the first to use it this way
