Hi,has any one on here used "unibond tiling wooden floors as i will be tiling a bathroom floor and it has chipboard down ,I would normally fix ply first but saw this unibond tile on wood which says it can be laid on chipboard,I have phoned them and they say its ok using a pva primer! Anyone had experience with this?Thanks.

I would not use PVA anywhere near any tiling.
 
its not that it wont stick to chipboard it will but if the chipboard gets wet it will swell and fall apart thats why we use ply or hardiebacker never use pva a good acrilic primer is needed for the bottom and sides of ply!:thumbsup:
