Need some advice regarding under floor heating. Am doing a downstairs toilet, the customers wanted a rad put in, but to run piping in there would be a nightmare, they have come up with under floor heating ,it has a solid floor which is tiled at present, the tiles are very solid, and feel it would be good enough to tile over , I know this is not ideal, but they are very solid, my question is would it be ok to sandwich the heating elements between the tiles.

I should imagine the ufh would have to work hard to warm up because of the existing tiles..

hi leslie, the ufh wont replace a radiator heat wise for the room if thats what they are thinking imo

also as beam says inbetween tiles i wouldnt be keen

what about an electric towel rail..

Agree with kilty.... electric towel warmer would be the easiest option. Go for 300w plus for decent warm up times and heat output
