Hi I am trying to remove and save some old 1970's Johnson Avocado tiles, As I am removing a bath in a En suite we have and putting a shower in and want to save some tiles to replace the missing area where the bath was(The shower is going to have a matching green Acrylic panel) I have got a multi tool and diamond tile cutter blade and removed the grout but i am struggling trying to the tiles off in 1 piece as i need to save quite a few and they are not available anywhere,Any tips on getting these off?
Thanks

Not much chance of getting them off in one piece.............1970’s tiles were/are like cream crackers.

Get something up to date, and do it properly

Try to find something to combine, there are lots of retro/vintage tiles on the market. We were restoring a 70's house in Belgium, I think 3 years ago. The owner kept most of the tiles, however we weren't able to save all of them, So we found a brown mosaic and it looks completely original, I have to find photos somewhere. :).

About taking it out in one piece, good luck. I would try slow and ofc manually.
