Travertine floor with heating

Hi just looked a travertine floor,under screed heating (water),plumber is turning heating on tommorw,my question is I have to self level half of the floor coz not flat,would you have a ditra mat down on top of screen?

Ok thanks how long do they need the heating on before preparation?I.e self leveling then matting,this is my first travertine floor by the way

Wet wheel or grinder to cut tiles

Both will cut ok but your biggest problem will be if it's one of the cheep travertine that is on the market with lots of filler in which can break quite easily and crumble sometimes when cutting or other handling

Ok thanks might not bother,home owner has told me its ready to tile barring in mind the ufh has even been turned on
