hey all
so a surveyor has sent me spec for a job i'm pricing. i was just reading thought it and i spotted this...

Tiling is to be fixed with approved adhesive to plastered walls and other surfaces with the adhesive evenly spread to a consistent thickness and combed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Prior to fixing, all walls should be Unibonded.

i'm not unibond pva'ing nothing

do you think i should mention this to them or leave it

cheers

Just use acrylic if you get the job, you need to find out the weight of the tiles for those plastered walls.

Just point out the issues with using that as a primer and recommend a primer for them..

This will just be a generic M40 spec that the architect will probably have been using for the last 30 years:yikes:

Just qualify all your costs on the materials that you will be using:thumbsup:

That seems to be the wording on most specs i see !
very precise wording but a little dated at points.

As above , but I would make sure you use the same primer as the adhesive manufacturer:thumbsup:

I think id be inclined to point it out to them as well, if you follow his spec who picks up the blame for the failure.......
