Terracotta sealer and maintenance

I am thinking the best product to seal Terracotta may be Aquamix Enrich N Seal since it doesn't not require linseed oil in maintenance. Whereas LTP's Colour Intensifier does require linseed oil in maintenance. Would this be correct?

I am trying to get this issue with terracotta into perspective since I have customers who have sealed with Linseed oil and a year or 2 later their floor is filthy and ingrained and they now want something that is easy maintenance.

what about using LTP's mattstone to seal then their waxwash to maintain it?

Waxwash contains linseed oil and doesn't require rinsing. I've not tried the product but I am thinking that these old method products are more risky.

To go the synthetic route then use:

LTP Iron wax primer.. Seal with either Iron wax Satin or Gloss depends on the finish the customer wants and then maintain with LTP floor shine..

That seems like a very good method Dave. Still leaves me wondering if it is better than simply applying Aquamix Enrich N Seal though.

Enrich and Seal is good.. but how many coats on a Saltillo /or terracotta tile will it take( price driven).. but i agree it is a damn site less maintenance than a topical sealer..

I just thought you wanted the LTP route..

Stick with the Aqua Mix Enrich N Seal mate

this was sealed 8 years ago with platina at a cost £2.50 might wash it soon lol
