Hi new guy here, just want to ask anyone out there with knowledge on how to get white staining out of slate flooring, could possibly be salt bloom or damp coming thru.

What substrate is it onto.?

What is it adhered down with.?

Is there a DPM installed in the substrate if not a wooden floor.?

Thanks for all the replies i will get some pictures a.s.a.p. the room was tanked (damproofed) but there may of been some water ingress possibly from above the slate coming in from under a door cill.
