Aww Mike, dont ask me that hun, how much prep work do you think I have to put in before any tiler walks onto site? Then they knock me 7.5% on the retentions and discounts, and I have to wait to get paid. Ive never really worked directly for a private client, except a couple of banks, if thats the case I make about 18-25% on top.

the only thing is I should imagine Dave has got it down to a fine art and can stick a lot in a day, still makes good money and gets the work in

can you imagine turning the current up too strong and being pinned against the wall and cant get to the stop button as its at the other end :lol:

mate one of the best time i have ever had was building a small one of these for an old guy/wife 20 years ago, he filmed us on an old vidio and at the end of the job he gave us a copy on a friday , my bro/wife were comming over to mine for dinner and drink's so i put it on the telly to watch, and we never laught so much!! everytime we finished a stage his voice would say ,another job well done!! bro keep taking the urine,anyway toward's the end of the film his wife lilly get's in the pool with her bathing cap on, a big frilly-thing lilly is going to demonstraight she turned it on ,and all you see was a bathing cap fly-across the pool!! me and bro fell of sofa laughing and bro say's another job well done :lol: poor old lilly
