I just thought that I'd mention the Staffordshire Oatcake. Checkout the staffordshire oatcakes website.... They go really well with sausage and bacon etc. A very nice tilers lunch if I do say so myself!

cant beat a nice old customer offering you teas and coffees all the time.jst finished a job,the old lady put on a feast of cakes and buscuits every time i got a coffee.ate so much i couldnt get down to the low tiles.took me an extra day to finish lol

The only food I have ever not eaten when offered by a customer was when this old dear came up with a cup of tea and a big plate of bread & dripping. I was too polite to say no so pretended to eat them & hid them in my toolbox. That was fine but I was on the job for 4 days - she brought me one platefull every day !!!
