Sorry to hijack the thread lads. But what adhesive would you use on these?

Ive done both with these sorts of tiles and it can actually make the joints stand out more if you grout them. Dry area, no grout for me.

Staggered no grout and l usual apply a tight skim of adhesive on wall to ensure that no background will show through any gaps.
