Cheers guys, I got a few hundred metres of slc to do so I think I might get one then.
I take it you use your spiked roller and then finish off with the speed skim?

Nope just the speed skim with the rocatex gear although I have a spiked roller too.

Spot on,
Pour, spiked roller and then a quick steady glide over the surface with the speed skim ;0)
If it's a big floor, get the 1.2m version with the pole adapter.

Depends what stuff you're using. Some fibre modified ones don't recommend a spiked roller

I don't rate speed skims, I'd rather use a steel spatula because plastic has a tendency to warp and lose its shape but it all down to personal preference.
