Yep, I've got a 600mm one and it's a great bit of kit for big pours. Only used it with Rocatex Fibre Flow though which is the dogs danglies stuff. @widler put me on to the speed skimHi
Anyone used a speedskim for slc and are they any good? Cheers
Nope just the speed skim with the rocatex gear although I have a spiked roller too.Cheers guys, I got a few hundred metres of slc to do so I think I might get one then.
I take it you use your spiked roller and then finish off with the speed skim?
I'm not sure as I go directNever heard of rocatex, what shops supply that?

Depends what stuff you're using. Some fibre modified ones don't recommend a spiked rollerSpot on,
Pour, spiked roller and then a quick steady glide over the surface with the speed skim ;0)
If it's a big floor, get the 1.2m version with the pole adapter.
That was my first choice before I tried Fibre FlowI usually use weber flex
No mate, I just use refina spats but I hear some plasterers raving about eze spats. They just seem a bit expensive for what they actually do imho.Is that the EZE spat you use instead Aston Tiling?
