There are plenty of contractors advertising on here if you want work, i've never used any agencies.
All your tools have to be 110v, and preferably PAT tested.
Speed is essential if you are working on price work, rates are still low so you need to be efficient. Another is confidence, you need to be able to walk on site and tackle pretty much any situation chucked at you.

yep its all about how many meters you put down:forget quality of work doesnt exist;the level of tiling here in france on the sites is shocking :i might post some photos because you need to see it to believe how bad it is and these are government contracts which are passed by the architects and engineers
Its not that bad ! Not here anyway

Confidence, Speed, Safety & Cleanliness are the 4 big ones,

Saftey and housekeeping can be taught in weeks, it takes years to build speed and find your natural rhythm/pace, (I do minimum 10mtrs a day otherwise for me its not worth be getting out of bed!) but keep at it it will come.

And yes 110v only or battery powered, personally i use battery cos you'll be more mobile.

Have you ever worked for a National Tile Supplier or even just smaller big chain tile suppliers? I'll tell you a funny story about how I got a job with Topps Tiles Newcastle and got top sales...
