I've bought a Coram shower tray with upstands. I'm going to tile straight onto plasterboard. I notice the tray is quite proud on the wall.

Would you guys/gals recommend cutting into the plasterbaord to recess the tray and make it flush for the tiling?

You do normally cut the tray into the wall area so the face of the upstand is flush to the wall.... But i would tank to make sure of no ingression into the substrate..
