Hi all,
DIY advice needed. Tiled the toilet and now for one reason or another need to remove the back wall tile skirt. What's the best way to do this without damaging the other tiles?
Other solution is to remove the trim and tile up the wall. Is there a way to remove just the trim?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated..
Will post pictures
Thanks!

Hi. If it’s plastic trim , you could remove the top with an oscillating multi tool. What are your plans?
It's a metal trim. Was thinking of removing the trim and tiling up the back wall or removing the skirting so we can fit a back to wall toilet.

It’ll be difficult to remove a metal trim to be honest as adhesive will have hold of it.
best bet is to remove the tiles and fit toilet and reinstall skirts or remove and tile behind the toilet. Either way imo they will need removing. You should be able remove without damaging the adjacent skirts if you go carefully.
