About to start and re-tile 3 front door steps with 2 sides with quarry tiles.
What order do I tile ?
Having removed the old ones do I need to treat with anything before tiling?
What is the best fix for these?
Thanks

Use a fast set flexible waterproof/frostproof cement based adhesive.
Clean all loose material and dust - and skim over with same adhesive.
Set up to tile fronts (risers) and sides then top (treads).
Make sure you allow for overhang on treads to cover tile thickness on risers.
Post a picture for a more detailed setting out proceedure.
Have fun and enjoy.

Thanks for your reply.
Pics herewith-steps look even worse.
As a DIYer don't think I can do worse-hopefully

After you have taken the tiles off you should 'square up' the steps if they are pitted and/or bellied. Might as well have a flat step to start with. Use the rapid set tile addy to fill in any holes
ps welcome to the forum

Its seriously nasty work, and yet the garden looks beautiful.... think that substrate needs a good going over before any tiling is started.

Seen the pics -:lol::lol: - Good luck!
Setting out the sides will be fun.
Doubt if it will take long to remove the tiles.
