When you quote for a kitchen splashback do you charge per square metre or per linear metre? also what else do you take into consideration when quoting a splashback?

One thing they all do here in Perth Australia is miter around the windows they don't really use trim.

I Generally use a day rate plus materials, Jeff. Mitring into the widow reveals is fine if they are bang square but edging profile tends to give more protection to the tile edges I feel.
