Hi All,

Quoting for a large floor job and unsure of what to charge. Thought I would run it by your good selves and see what comes up.
Its 36 sq mtrs of porcelain.2 sizes of tile (470x470 and 310x310) in a pattern.
Job runs through four rooms, (without breaking bond) and one floor has to be levelled first with compound.(8 sq mtrs).
All floors concrete.

normally charge 25 for porcelain but for that amount id do for 20

so

720 tiling

7 bags rapid flex, i pay 21 a bag but charge 25

175 addy

2 bag slc at 25 a bag

50 for slc

grout, not sure what u get it for

primer for floor

should be 1180

id explain that they would be getting it 180 cheaper as normally charge 25 a m2 for porc but for them id do for 20 a m2

Does the porcelain need sealing? make sure the adhesive is porcelbond, and dont forget only use flexible floor grout, i would stick to £25sqm.

you are cheaper than me i would first see if they snap on a slide cutter if they do i would charge 28 plus mats if they need to be wet cut its 32 plus mts the 8 metres of leveling i would allow 4 bags of 20 kg water based leveller i pay 12 so charge 18 plus 50 for labour for the leveling hope this helps

£800 for me without materials
£20 a m2 for laying the tiles plus a few quid for laying the SLC either the night before of that morning (if its rapid setting)
