Welcome to the forum Amanda, can't answer your question but someone will come the aid of the damsel in distress.Unless your'e a bloke !

Hi Amanda, I live in Grantham and I did my course at North East Tiling Training(South Sheilds),fantastic course with all the info you need crammed into 4 days, gives you bags of confidence.I finished my course last week and doing my first paid job at the moment.
Its much more easier to stay away 4 nights than trying to stay away for a month(cheaper aswell). If you want any feedback on the course just pm me.🙂

I know a few guys that have been to Chase Tiling Academy from Mansfield / Notts.

Travelled in every day.

Chase are an accredited CITB centre to deliver the ICA in Wall & Floor Tiling and can get you enrolled on your NVQ to get your City & Guilds from them too.

Good luck mate 🙂

Hi Amanda...welcome to the forums. The courses are a good foundation to work off, some of the guys on here have only done the 4/5 day courses themselves and are doing well for themselves.

If you start off slow maybe doing some smaller type jobs around looking after your littl'n and don't expect to hit the ground earning £30-40k per year and you use us lot on here whenever you get stuck, you will be fine mate.

After a while your speed will improve and you will gain confidence etc and you could start earning a nice living while leaving yourself enough time to have a life outside of tiling.

Good luck

Toby
