lookin for some info on a new plasterd wall.how long should u leave before u can start tiling.
 
the thing is with plaster, it may look dry but then you will get a patch showing about a day later. This is because the surface moisture dries quicker than the base moisture, and absorption etc....

With internally rendered walls, give it 2-4 weeks.

With plasterboard and 2 coats of board finish, give it 3 days to a week.
 
i got told you should let it dry for 6weeks looks dry from outside but there is water still inside well thats what i got told
 
hi guys ive always been told to let it set a few weeks b4 tiling over, is dream on fresh new flat areas though
 
i go with 4 weeks dont let any 1 say much less as it will look dry but it will hold a lot of moisture free standing tiles held up with grout wont stay there if they have a knock
