My DH has just started tiling our kitchen splashbacks with some lovely tumbled mosaic tiles...and he has tiled before, so he knows what he's doing, but where there is a gap of half a tile or so, how do we fill / cut the tiles to fit?

Is it possible to cut mosaic tiles?

Please help soon or I may be filing for divorce tomorrow...

Don't file for a divorce just yet. Simply get yourself a pair of tile nippers (top one here is fine: [DLMURL="http://www.tradetiler.com/acatalog/tile_nippers.html"]TradeTiler.Ltd Nippers[/DLMURL]) and then mark and 'snip' the tiles. Sure, it's not a fast job but yes, it can be done.

P.S. does DH stand for divorced husband? 😛

No, divorce is off, lol, DH bought himslef an angle grinder as he felt the nippers wouldn;t work, and is doing a lovely job.

Thanks for your help!

Use your wet cutter with plenty of water running through it. Thats a good one too. Either way, give them a good scoring first.

Good luck 🙂

Wow, and angle grinder for mosaics. lol. I bet the mosaics were frightened to death seeing a big blade flying towards them. Watch your fingers! 😛

Would be really good if you could throw a couple of pics of finished job on here🙂
Hope it all ends up great for u🙂
