my contract with vodafone up for renewal in June so i get a new phone when i renew
i have a nokia N95 gb at the moment so i was wondering what phone you yougeuns would recommend

I've got the Sonim XP1 (The JCB phone without the JCB logo)
Seemed to be the best for the building trade, as it is almost indestructable.
but I have had problems with mine. sometimes the folk on the other end ge tfeed back of their own voice.

i keep meaning to phone vodafone to complain about it, but never remember untill the next time somebody moans about it:lol:

As long as it connects to the person at the other I dont think it matters. I will upgrade when they release the one that can avoid the bucket of muck when dropped :yes:

The Sonim, or JCB, would still work fine if it did hit the muck.


Look it up on youtube, folk set it in concrete, hit it with golf club, drive over it, put it in water and it still works.

Pity mine gives feed back without me even doing any of that fun stuff though:lol:

Never bother with fancy mobiles as I always seem to kill mine off within 9 months of getting it.

Nokia N82 here,great contract with o2 but can't find a bodyglove cover anywhere for it.great camera on it.

i got the blackberry pearl from vodafone. its great and even comes with 12 months free satnav. good for when you forget your car one at home :yes:

I was thinking of getting one until I was chatting to a guy in a mobile shop and he mentioned a software problem, A few have been returned. So I bought a Samsung SGH-M110 which has a rubber surround with sealed buttons on the keypad £50 good phone.

The weird thing is, it doesn't.
It is just a basic phone.
No camera, no Mp3 player. Just a phone.

If you buy it as a JCB branded phone, it has no Bluetooth and looks like it was made by FisherPrice.
The Sonim version does have Bluetooth, and is a wee bit less in yer face colour wise.

I might get on to vodafone just now about the feedback from mine.:yes:
