Just come back from KBB/Expotile. Thoroughly enjoyed it, got lot's of flyers and stuff i wanted to investigate. I can't believe the varieties of taps and extractor fans! Spent 7 hrs driving and 3 hrs wandering around, finished off with a Toby carvery and a pint:8: There is no way it would take me 2 day's to see what i wanted unless your a big contractor.

How did the rest of you get on?

PS Made sure i saw the girls at 365 drills!

They were right around the corner to the left at the very back of the hall. Personally thought the show was crap for tilers but great for kitchen fitters designers and such like. Only a few tool supliers there a few interesting backer board suppliers and a very interesting new German made adhesive apart from that, stay at home unless you really have nothing to do.

I got a fair bit of Networking in myself with the stone people and I think it was brill if you were a bathroom fitter or plumber especially if you could speak chinese

Me and Mr Riley have been at Loggerheads for a while because I wouldn't conform as a Super Mod and do his bidding. So I paid for that he got rid of me as a Mod and 2 others who wouldn't conform and since then he has been trying to get rid of me and that was the only excuse he could find.:hang:

Thanks for the post kev. I dont obviously know the ins and outs but it seems a bit of a shame that it has come to this. Thats life I guess! Well we will all have the benifit of ur knowledge on here so not all bad lol. :8:

Actually I have been wondering myself what the hell I have been doing on that forum for the last 2 1/2 years. This forum is far better with normal people and normal mods just going about their business and offering good advice. I think Mr Riley did me a big favour on reflection:hurray:

The people who use it and contribute to it! Just one thing though - its not so good for my time management! I think I've got a forum addiction problem - maybe I need to get out more lol
