Started a bathroom today.. we found some damp floorboards took them up to find bit of dry rot!!

So today has been my 1st experience with dry rot.. everyday is still a school day

Any advise is welcome

Get the specialists in! I know they just cut out, spray etc but I wouldn't want to risk it if it was bad

Yes, ground floor bathroom. It's all very damp no air brick the joist plate is bad too.. Thanks guys

treat with wood worm treatment.
did a job befor xmas was a upstairs bathroom sprayed all the timbers with 2 coats then ran another set of joists next to the effected ones then used 25mm tong and grove full length of room was solid when we finished
