Guys
Another wee problem and hope someone has a solution for me. Have recently finished en-suite in my own house (thankfully this hasn't happened with a customers tiles!) and had used the washboy to go over the grout - so far so good! Unfortunately before I got finally finished I had friends appear unexpectedly, so the washboy was cast aside while I was entertaining. Anyway, by the time I got back to finish off (a couple of days later) the grout that was left on tiles on one part of a wall won't come off.
Any suggestions????????

Do you mean the excessive grout haze on the surface, try Lithofins Cement away, or a similar product.

Hi Oli

Yes, that's what it is but there's quite a bit on some tiles as I was almost finished but just abandoned it when the doorbell rang! Won't make that mistake again. Will try to get some Lithofin and give it a try.
Thanks again for your input.

Are the tiles smooth or textured?

If there smooth and the grout is very excessive eg in lumps, you could try a scraper, get one like a glass scraper with a wide blade, but be carefull not to dig into the tile surface and scratch it.

Hi, they are glazed ceramic tiles. It's not as much as in lumps - just feels like sandpaper in some bits and you can see it where the light hits the tiles. Hopefully Lithofin will help.
Thanks again
