grout floats!!! guys what do you recomend

my trouble is i always forget where i bought them last !!, mine are worn out and i need new-un's so what do you recommend, i have been using ones 25cm x 11cm think they were Rubi with a very soft black neoprene type rubber, and just looked on trade tiler!! not much selection i like the size 30 cm long marshaltown .is there any other on -line dealers with a good selection that you know of??

just whent on a raimondi site they are the one i have maste and i'll get more now where do you get your's please

I tend to use epoxy floats cos they are solid and get into corners well but not sure if i can buy the one i use now it's an old Bal blue float had a box of then down to last one so will be sad when it becomes useless.

Raimondi for me too, lovely to use and detatchable rubbers mean i can use one for black grouts and another for white etc. Been using them for years and no reason to change.

marshaltown for me , raimondi wash boy sponges are the best for washing off. just bought the pedalo wash boy has we have loads of large floors to do

i actually quite like the b@q floats also, they are a nice size not too big and if looked after they last a fair amount of time so work out better value than the marshallton's

yes i bought 4 ramondi on line , i love the soft ones then just bin them when old also just bought two new straight edges one for screeding and one for ruling off h section from refina two :yikes: calme down gooner this buying on line is to easy :lol:

Nope not at all.

yeah marshalltown is more comphy but wont last as long as the raimondi wait and see maybe once i have used it a few times it will be better

as a thought raimondi float far too hard there no gum or sponge between the rubber and plastic float itself where as the marshalltown float is more lighter and not so hard on the wrist

I bought some more raimondi ones today, great price too.
Wedges too and more bits and pieces.
I also seen the raimondi floor wedge( lash clips) system. Very strong and from what the guy told me there has been great feedback on them locally, big stone tiles especially.
