Hello forum
My first post here
Have just started tiling a shower and the corners are proving rather tricky with nothing being square
Some gaps have turned out a little smaller than I wanted and I am worried I will not be able to get enough purchase on the sealant in the corners
Rather than remove the offending tiles would it be possible to run an angle grinder down the corners?
Anyone done this with any success?
Is it just a totally nonsense idea?
Otherwise I will pull the offenders off the wall and re cut
Many thanks in adv
JJ

If it is the odd tile then don't bother. I certainly wouldn't be running an angle grinder down the corner. Any pics?

Thanks for the quick reply
No pics just yet but may try later
Essentially some tiles are almost touching, others faired better with a good gap to get sealant into
In you experience will the sealant cover this over anyway?
Many thanks

Yes, you should be just fine. Clean the joint thoroughly and smooth the silicone bead neatly and all should be good.
