Gluing Down Ply Overlay.

Just a quicky, Is it really necessary to glue down ply overlay as well as screwing down, doing my own bathroom and a little concerned if the pipes under the floor boards need any kind of attention in the future the glued down ply will be more than just a pain in the bum to get off. Floor is only 2.8 m2 if that makes a difference, Thanks in advance.

I've never glued ply down mate, just screw down ever 6 inchs making sure your screw's don't go through the bottom of the boards to far. Remeber to take into account the counter sink of the screw.

Its gonna be a pain lifting the floor anyway once tiled, even if the ply is only screwed.

Screw will do my man. Once tiled it will be a nightmare to bring up anyway

I wouldn't worry too much about getting it all up if theres a problem with the pipes beneath.... you'll probably be able to fix it thru the hole in the ceiling below🙂
