Can I just double check what gap to leave from the last tile when tiling a room.

Whats the rule to get the right angle corrent? I done it in traing but it didnt seem to work when i done a kitchen the other week.

e.g. you tile 1 full wall and you meet the right angle of the next wall what gap down the right angle of the wall so that the gaps the same all the way up?


is it 6mm away from the wall on both sides?

tile the first wall, take the tile as near as possible, then when tiling the next wall to that wall, leave a 2mm gap for grouting.

As long as you leave room for each wall to expand..either with movement or moisture then no probs....make sure your silicone is sanitary grade.........happy tiling!!!!
