Hey guys... had some muppet plumber quizin me today on electric heating beneath travertine, he's been told by some tile shop assistant its a no go area and should be avoided. Ive never used electric UFH with travertine myself so I didnt really know what to advise him.

Any ideas on this one guys ?? Is it ok or not?

Stevo

Re: Electric UFH with travertine querry

Not a clue Dave mate... it was more of a general question the plumber asked me, checkin whether what he'd heard from the tile shop was true or not. I thought it sounded like a load of rubbish myself... which is what I told him, but I thought I best double check with the men in the know on here, since ive never actually used it myself.
