Dam the SLC!!!

Hi Guys,

Doing alot more UFH jobs and one of my pet hates is damming in the SLC. I usually use old strips of plasterboard or tile battons siliconed to the floor. This can be easily lifted in the morning. Its easy when you have tilied down to floor. What do you guys do??

If it's only a 3mm or 4mm skim, I use draught excluder, cos you can leave it there, or remove it after if you wish.

Anything i can get my hands on! Carpet gripper, tile trim or a bit of old timber

If i cant find anything i feather it around the edges on ufh.

Silicon . just gun a bead of Silicon to stop it running away

if going higher i just double it up

Me too, but all of the above also

all of the above,but have used sand too on occasions. Once slc has set you can just sweep it up
