cutting down doors

is there a tool on the market for cutting down doors with the door still on its hinge, so that i dont have to take the door off to cut it down to size, if so are they any good and whats the price and suplier.

Dave Neave at Tradetiler.com Home used to sell them, you're looking for a 'Door Trimmer'. The only one I can find is on eBay - eBay.co.uk: Karlton Door Trimmer (240v) (item 130025552406 end time 19-Sep-06 15:56:24 BST)

Try searching Google for one.

Bit confused by this question. Surely if the door needs trimming then you would have to of taking it off to tile?

Or the floor's been tiled and you can't open the door to get out, the guy might've been stuck in his bathroom since 2006

lol I suppose if you can predict the exact height you are going to come up to before tiling it would be very handy and cut cut your door trimming charge

this way is great i use a cheap wicks curclia saw with the blade it came with = perfect results
