Hi - Completed my first floor tiling project, a garden room floor in travertine tiles 600 x 400 x 13mm in December. Carried out installation all in accordance with advice received, flexible full bed adhesive and grout, underfloor heating mat, 50mm ecoboard insulation on ply deck and very pleased with the result. Noticed yesterday that one of the tiles has just cracked - hairline crack about 100mm long accross its width. I would imagine that eventually crack will extended throughout the full width of the tile. Replacing tile is not really an option so any advice as to how to fill to achieve best result from a visual point of view. Thanks

Can be filled with a resin then polished or honed to the desired finish. Not really a DIY job...by the time you get the products to do the job, what area are you from?

It could purely have been a fault in the tile that has only just showed up with cleaning etc and dirt entrapped in the surface crack..

As Andrew has mentioned a resin filler might work and sometimes opening of the crack will be needed to get a strong hold and this is no DIY job..
