HI folks I have been asked to investigate the possibilities of cleaning up/restoring a kitchen floor done in quarry tiles. The floor itself is sound and so was wondering what the process would be and what the best products would be to get it as clean as possible

any helpful advice would be grately appreciated
thanks
Lee

TilingLogistics will be your man for this question but not sure if he is working away this week.

Check out the Ruabon website, there is extensive information about cleaning, maintenance and fixing of quarries on there. You may have to register to get access to the info but it is free, and the info is very good.

Lithofin do a great product for cleaning up Quarry's etc .........

Lithofin FZ Intensive Cleaner
Concentrated, high alkaline cleaner for all ceramic, porcelain and quarry tiles. Removes stubborn, ground in dirt often caused by years of foot traffic.

The Lithofin special product for finely finished, fully vitrified ceramic and porcelain tiles. This solvent free, alkali-based special cleaner has an in-depth cleaning action, removing particularly oily, greasy stains and also generally stubborn dirt.

Depending on the degree of dirt, use Lithofin FZ Intensive Cleaner neat or diluted up to 1:10 in cold or lukewarm water. Apply and distribute with a scrubbing brush, leaving to take effect for 10-20 minutes. Scrub over again several times during this period and do not allow to dry. Finally wipe up with a cloth, and if necessary rinse over the area again with clean water.

You get about 10-15m2/Ltr, in case of heavy soiling.

and about 100-200m2/Ltr, if diluted.............
