Hello All,
A delight to join you all in the tiling world! :angel_smile: I've been tiling for about 12months doing small jobs and now going for some more training at PTS, geometric and mosaic stuff which should be great fun.

Hi Cooperman,

No they don't specifically do geometric courses, but that's what I told them I wanted to do - will start the course 23 April - want to do victorian style as well as more design work fiddley cuts etc to create flowers. They were really happy with me doing this as long as I knew what I wanted. It's a case of never having the time to do it on my own, it's nice for someone to guiding you.

I do know that they might be doing an advanced course nearer the end of the year with, possibly, bizzazza (spelling?) style mosaic.

hi anne.welcome to the forum and just wondered if you find it an advantage or not being a female in the trade?for me its actually been an advantage(touch wood-dont want to speak too soon)which i was pleasantly surprised at.good luck on your upcoming course.

Oh heavens leatherface you've changed that photo - defo thinking of 'chukkie' now!

Being female an advantage? always! Seriously yet people trust you more and believe you when you say you're going to tidy up after yourself! On the other hand they do expect you to be a designer choosing colours, size etc etc. Fun - sometimes!
