bathroom units

L

lesleykettle

hi everybody there.
i am a new member and a female diy-er.

i am refurbishing my bathroom with new base and wall units.
is it better to tile the walls before fitting the units or after.

thank you all very much.

lesley

I've done both ways and the reason was that the units did'nt have any backing to them, the customer wanted to see tiles when opening the units.

If you tile first make sure the walls are flat so the units fit snug to the tiles.

Hi and welcome

i haven't any backs on my units so its tiled first but if you have backs you are best fitting them first but check with your bathroom fitter because he may take the backs off

After a quick look on their website I can't find the range, but in general with free standing, the services (pipework) get done first if required, then tile, then fit furniture:thumbsup:
