Hi all. just had some 2ft by 1ft bathroom tiles fitted, what a mess!

tiles lipping, he made sure it was only 1mm?

put 2 meter straight edge with 3mm stand off feet at each end, the gap between is 9 to 12 mm,

hence mosaic borders are curved, to fall in line

also tile started above door, but when they went round the room, and met back onthe adjacent wall, the bottom was 10mm lower

company dont want to know, and info please tnx

happy new year??????????????????

Could you post up some pictures so we can see what were talking about.

Where abouts in the coutry are you?

What has the company said about your concerns?

He did'nt use a datum line around the room, was any prep done to the walls before tiling, was the tiles laid as a brick bond

:welcome:Sorry to hear of your problem. As above sounds like walls should have been prepared. Tolerance should be +/- 3mm over 2m edge. As for 10mm out of joint ridiculous. Hope you get it sorted.
