Hi i recently built a wet room in my house , now we are looking to fit a glass screen , i've been thinking of getting the Toughened glass made to measure and I've found a supplier of the supports i need , but I'm unsure of the recommended thickness of the glass IE 6mm or 8mm , can any body advice ( the glass will be 1900 x 800 approx )

I'd personally go for 8mm with a piece of glass that size, I'm sure the manufacturer will be able to give you some advice when you order.

I'd consider 10mm as the recessed channels we use are to fit 10mm glass!
I wasn't aware that you could get 6mm safety glass.

6mm far too thin. Go for 8... however

you ideally want 10mm toughened

I personally wouldn't consider anything less than 10mm. That's not to say 8mm won't be safe enough but for that size and fior style it would be 10mm all the way

I'd go for 10mm toughened safety glass if you can.
i am fitting a one in 3 weeks. infact its more like a glass partition rather than a shower screen.
