Tile Master PrimePlus Flexible Primer Peeling Off Plaster Skim

Hi Chris, it could be that the plaster has very little porosity and therefore the neat coat just isn't penetrating the surface and adhering as well as you would expect. Given this, if you have removed the neat coat, then I recommend you apply a new coat diluted 3 parts water to 1 part Primeplus...

    kerakoll h40 eco ideal

I am told by a Kerakoll stockist that it is a standard setting dispersion adhesive so when used with a decoupling layer it can take a long time to set. Lovely to work with though is what the feedback says.

Self levelling with two different latex products!

It won't be a problem. As mentioned above allow the first product to stiffen slightly before applying the other product. That way they will not mix, they will simply flow up to each other. You will probably end up with a very slight lip where the 2 meet but it will be minimal and you could...

    gyvlon screed.

We have a gypsum based adhesive - AnhyFix as mentioned above. We now have a few stockists and if you call the office 01772 456831 we can point you in the right direction.

    gyvlon screed.

We use hygrometer's but even these are not 100% reliable on anhydrite screed, the readings can fluctuate from day to day. They are useful as a guide but still not bullet proof. I am lead to believe that drilling a core sample is the most efficient way to take an accurate moisture reading. I...

Big day - slc time! Timing advice needed...

I wouldn't advise turning on the UFH until 7 days have passed. Most SLC's these days can be tiled pretty quickly, if the bag states 12 hours then thats what I would go with. Your adhesive and grout will also need 7 days before the UFH is switched on so I would turn the heating on 7 days after...

    Ditra on Anhydrite

Its different to the Kerakoll Ideal David and Anhyfix doesn't rely on dispersion. Its a rapid setting gypsum based adhesive that will set within 3 hours. AnhyFix is made with a blend of gypsum based materials, one of them a rapid setting product and the usual herbs and spices so it doesn't...

    Ditra on Anhydrite

It is, all UFH systems. We will have the end product ready early next week so we can supply samples David if its of interest. Tech data sheet I just need to finalise. Anybody else wanting samples of AnhyFix please say and i'll make the arrangements.

Mapei ultracolor plus love it or hate.

I'm not trying to defend the grout Brian, you should absolutely be able to mix a full bag with no issues. You've done nothing wrong, we have to produce a user friendly grout that is a good all rounder for all users. Your comments have been passed onto the Chemists this morning as a reminder to...

Mapei ultracolor plus love it or hate.

It goes off quicker in the bucket because there is a larger quantity in there and as a result when mixed it can generate heat which just adds to the quicker set in a similar way to the Mapei grout. It does take a touch longer in the joint, however it will be solid in 3 hours. Difference...

East Midland Ceramics in Nottingham do stock Light Weight in decent volume and they do offer the adhesive through their website.

    Ditra on Anhydrite

Strictly speaking no David because the AnhyFix is 100% compatible with anhydrite/calcium sulphate screeds. We are recommending, however, one coat of primer, diluted with 3 parts water. The reason being to reduce porosity and remove dust, no other reason. For the same reasons you would prime...

    Ditra on Anhydrite

Its no problem sticking to the fleece back Peter. Tilemaster AnhyFix is ready for launch in 2 weeks time and our adhesion strengths are in keeping with a C2 rated cement based adhesive which is very encouraging. When using our product with an uncoupling membrane, absolutely no reason for any...

Hi Brian, I hope your well pal. Just noticed your comment on Grout 3000, 20 minutes is far too quick, the idea is a minimum of 30 minutes pot life. What colour was it please that you were using and if you have any left over a batch number would be ideal? It is always difficult in these...
