Unhappy with finish of beveled metro tiles and tile trim around window - are we being unreasonable?

I agree, the lack of experience/training with these kind of tiles is showing up on the finer details, needs to be spot on when highlighting with a different coloured grout. Sounds like he realised he couldn't do the window properly and just finished the job and left hoping you wouldn't realise...

British Ceramic Tiles - They actually want our feedback

The B should stand for Banana, just as curved and about as much use (although at least you can eat a banana)

My 1st Job Little support please

I'm sorry OM96 but I agree with the other members. These tiles look fine for walls (although personally I detest the quality of all tiles made for B and Q) but I doubt they're robust enough for foot traffic, even in a bathroom. If you're going to the trouble and expense of tiling a floor why not...

Dot and dab 600x300 porcelain tiles in shower with readymix

That's terrifying dingleing, thank goodness you were able to rectify the job. Reminds me of a customer who bought enormous porcelain tiles off the internet and wanted his bathroom walls done. When I removed the previous tiles I found skimmed plasterboard, useless. The customer baulked at the...

Help! Can a good tiler sort this out?

I'm with you macten, why should we have to rectify others poor work? I wouldn't expect the next tradesman to have to fix my errors before doing his own job, certainly wouldn't do my reputation any good.

    Best 600 tile cutter

You Star! Had tried BuyBrandTools and got nowhere so didn't try anywhere else, found the breaker unit here! My Rubi can live on a bit longer (although I will be trying the Sigma when it finally dies)!

    Adhesion/coverage problem

If you were at the end of a mix it could have started to go off before your last tiles were fixed. A small mix is best if you're not familiar with the working time of an adhesive, even though it means doing it more often.

    Best 600 tile cutter

Hi All, my Rubi TR-600 has come to the end of its long and very busy life as I can no longer obtain parts. I'm looking at the new TR-600 Magnet but don't know whether its as good, can anyone offer their opinion? Willing to change model or even brand if there's something better out there as long...
